About Us

It’s In The Bag Designs was created in 2018 after many years of selling our popular peg baskets at handmade markets across Victoria. With a background in Environmental Science, It’s In The Bag Designs founder, Bec has a love for nature, the environment and living sustainably.

This love for the environment and eco-friendly living was the inspiration to design and make a peg basket that not only looked great but was also functional, weather-resistant and durable. So durable in fact that our peg baskets are guaranteed to last for 10+ years out in the weather. We’ve had many customers tell us that they’re still using their peg basket they bought from us 20 years ago!

Considering most peg baskets are made from either metal that rusts or plastic that breaks down after a year of use, the longevity of our peg baskets is a big win for the environment. Every customer who switches to using one of our peg baskets is helping to reduce the amount of plastic waste going to landfill.

All our packaging used in packing your order is 100% recyclable and compostable, including the packing tape (which can be recycled with other soft plastics or disposed of in the general rubbish bin).
